_______________

GREASE
Rydell High’s spirited class of ‘59-gum-chewing, hub-cap-stealing, hotrod-loving boys with D.A.s and leatherjackets and their wise-cracking girls in teased curls, bobby sox, and pedal pushers-capture the look and sound of the 1950s in a rollicking musical that salutes the rock ‘n’ roll era. While hip Danny Zuke and wholesome Sandy Dumbrowski resolve the problems of their mutual attraction for each other, the gang sings and dances its way through such nostalgic scenes as the pyjama party, the prom, the burger palace, and the drive-in movie.

West Side Story
Loosely based on Shakespeare’s Romeo and Juliet, and set in the urban slums of New York, the show used, as its modern equivalents for the Montagues and Capulets the juvenile gangs of local whites (the Jets) and immigrant Puerto Ricans (the Sharks). The did battle with childish seriousness over the streets that they claim as their territory.
The Jets, boastful and contemptuous of the immigrants, call on Tony, who used to be their leader but now has a regular job and is on his way to adulthood, to help their new leader Riff and the gang in a challenge to the Sharks. Riff reminds Tony of his old allegiance and of how menacing the newcomers are. Tony reluctantly agrees reluctantly but soon becomes excited with the thrill of potential combat.

The Lion King
Giraffes strut, birds swoop, gazelles leap! The entire savanna comes to life and, as the music soars, Pride Rock slowly rises out of the stage. This is The Lion King.
The winner of six 1998 Tony Awards, including Best New Musical, it is the story of a young lion cub named Simba who struggles to accept the responsibilities of adulthood and his destined role as king. To bring the classic 1994 film to life, Disney turned to the story’s roots, its rich mythology, powerful human drama and primal African rhythms to create a fantastic new musical unlike anything Broadway has ever seen.

The Mambo Kings
Two Cuban brothers arrive in big band New York City with dreams of love and fame.
The melody begins, your body feels the beat, and your heart keeps the rhythm going, long after the music ends.
Based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning novel, The Mambo Kings Play Songs of Love, and Oscar-nominated film of the same name, The Mambo Kings takes you from Havana to New York with two brothers, inspired by their Cuban past and bound together by their American dream. As they set out to conquer the glamorous nightclub world of 1950s Manhattan, every encounter is a reason to dance, and every step brings them closer to their destiny.

Saturday Night Fever
Saturday Night Fever tells the story of Tony Manero, a humble paint store clerk by day and a polyester-clad stallion king of disco by night. Every Saturday night, Tony slips into his flares, pulls on his ludicrously large-collared chemise and hits the streets and the clubs. When the club nights snap on, however, and Tony and his friends emerge into the daylight, things are never as simple as they seem.
The show features 70s classics with its best-selling soundtrack featuring hits such as “Stayin’ Alive”, “Night Fever”, “How Deep Is Your Love”, “You Should Be Dancing”, “If I Can’t Have You”, “Tragedy”, “Disco Inferno” and “Jive Talkin’” combining with scintillating disco choreography.
