Elodie Eristavi
I am Elodie Eristavi, Belgian.
I began my studies in a general education school with the options:
Latin, Languages and Economic Sciences. I chose this school for his rigor and his discipline, 2 important points for my future.
In 2001, I decided to go on with my studies at the Berlitz International School, with for purpose to learn and improve my languages skills and be initiated to Tourism and public Relations. I have had the opportunity to carry out training courses in Hotels and Holiday villages which were my fields of predilection.
I first of all carried out student jobs in bars, taverns and restaurants of high gastronomy. Thereafter I worked with the Front Office of a Hotel in Liege, Belgium.
At the end of my education, I started to work in a Holiday village in Turkey. First of all, I worked as entertainer and assistant of the Mini Club chief. I had as responsibilities to create, to organize and entertain activities with children. I also took part in the evening events such as musicals, sketches, cabarets, etc…
At the time of my second season in this Holiday Club, I became Mini Club chief. Thereafter, I improved my skills as customer relations manager.
My functions were as follows:
- To ensure the management of Hotel representatives.
- To manage the hiring of sporting materials available for the holiday guests.
- To establish a system of satisfaction concerning the quality of the activities and the services suggested by this Holiday Village.
- To take an active part in the events in the evening time.
Currently, I wish to go on with Entertainment management.
 My target for entertainment management is:
- To initiate my employees to the entertainment life with the system of seminars coordinated with Revaz Eristavi so that these employees become professional entertainers during the season.
- To maintain the high quality level of our creativity in activities, events and relations with the holiday guests.
- To maintain good relations and work with the other services of the Hotel
- To improve the Hotel quality and contribute to its income increase.
The experience I am waiting for my employees:
An entertainer must
- speak two languages minimum,
- be fit,
- between 19 and 30 years old,
- optimistic, enthusiastic,
- be available,
- be outgoing.
What is making our employees professional:
It is very important we take time to teach the events and prepare our entertainers before the season, so that we will have time to let them improve themselves with activities and guest contact during the season.
A professional entertainer will be the Hotel representative for the holiday guests.
Every entertainer will be trained to become professional in his area; sport activities, active communication with hotel guests, night event artists and much more…
Here is a part of our quality system of entertainment:
1. Guest contact: The most important skill of an entertainment team is the relation-contact with the holiday guests.
2. Personal relations: The entertainment team is the most important service for the Hotel quality. To maintain its good skills, the good relations between the employees and with the other services (F&B, front office, Housekeeping…) is essential.
3. Improvement: for a team, a target needs to be fixed at the beginning of a project. The target is not supposed to be reached but exceeded. For this reason, my goal is to give motivation to the employees so that they improve themselves.
4. The reward: for a good job and good skills, a good employee satisfaction. On the way the entertainers keep their motivation and abilities, it is important they feel good during their working time but during their free time too. The entertainer must feel at home, as he will live in the Hotel or in the personal apartments of the Hotel during the whole season.
My goal in entertainment management:
My goal in Entertainment management is to become a company known for its highest service of Entertainment in Hotels and Holiday Villages all around Europe.
I am willing to have a company that will coordinate different style of activities and events depending on the Hotel type we are working with and their target.
The quality program provided by me:
My responsibility is to take care of the entertainers performances during the whole season in the way they improve themselves and feel good in their job. For this the first point is the training that Revaz and I will provide to the whole entertainment team. This will include the introduction to tourism, guest relation, sport activities and stage artistic abilities so that the entertainment team will have great performances on global Hotel entertainment.
Moreover, we will maintain the motivation to our team by giving them support during their carrier with all possible availabilities so that they continue working with us and get a higher level in the future.
Work with other departments:
In order to have a good coordination and organization with the other hotel departments, we will negotiate with the department’s management to organize events together for the hotel interests.
